The Slope

We've been open since 2001 and our innovative dry slop technology has proved a great success.  Our down slope measures 360ft with a vertical drop of 100 ft.  Since then we have expanded with two further nursery slopes and a second drag lift.

The surface

Our dry slope surface 'Power pac' is a continuous carpet and does not have the voids (notorious for broken fingers and wrists) typical of the surfacing used by most dry slopes.  As it is continuous, the bristles do not need to be so rigid, therefore abrasion is rarely a problem.  It also has a soft backing so is far softer to fall on.  As with other dry surfaces, the slope is mist lubricated for ultimate performance.

 Beginners

We have completely separate slopes for your first experience on "snow" from which you will soon advance to the nursery slope.  These slopes are laid with a longer pile to give a reassuringly slower start.

Experts

For those who want to show off we have installed a jump pan and ridge – the latter being particularly popular with boarders and advanced skiers.

Equipment

We supply all the equipment necessary both for boarders and skiers including the latest carving skies. If you have your own boots we strongly recommend you bring them along.

The Clubhouse & Ski Shop (during opening hours)

At the foot of the slope you can watch the action or just relax in comfort.  We have a tasty range of hot and cold snacks with freshly baked 9in pizzas from £2.95, a full bar including draft beer and freshly brewed coffee.  Checkout the walls, papered with piste maps from all over the world.  Adjoining the Clubhouse, the Ski Shop stocks a full range of the latest ski and board equipment supplied by our partner 'edge2edge'.  No pressure, come and browse with experienced staff always on hand.  (see 'Ski Shop' for more details)
